IDF Corporate Sponsors

Why Join Us?

Corporate Sponsors elect a Corporate Representative to Council every three years. Any Corporate Sponsor can stand for election and elections will next take place in 2012. The Corporate Representative represents the views of their fellow Corporate Sponsors at IDF Council meetings which are held monthly.

Benefits of Corporate Sponsorship are:

• Access to the electronic database of membership
• Free half page advertising in the annual newsletter
• The opportunity to profile the organisation on the IDF website
• Words “Proud Sponsors of the IDF” can be used in marketing literature and on the member’s website with a link to the IDF’s website
• The opportunity to host one corporate sponsors networking meeting per annum to showcase the company’s services to IDF Members. IDF Administration will regularly advertise the event by e-mail to all members and help with bookings.  The event and registration form will be published on the IDF website and the IDF will also advertise one follow up meeting/notice
• The opportunity to highlight significant news in the IDF monthly e-bulletin up to a maximum of three times a year at the editor’s discretion
• Sponsorship of over £7500 or the equivalent in kind  in any one year  would mean the annual membership fee for that particular year would be waived
• Networking opportunities through attendance at IDF meetings and participation in discussions.  Two representatives per corporate member can attend meetings/events unless the corporate member is sponsoring an event in which case the following applies: (The Study weekend is not included in this)
  • Sponsorship of up to £2000 per event will enable 2 corporate sponsor representatives to attend free of charge
  • Sponsorship of between £2000 - £3000 per event will enable 3 corporate sponsor representatives to attend free of charge
  • Sponsorship of over £3000 per event will enable 4 corporate sponsor representatives to attend free of charge
  • Numbers above these go on a waiting list and if there is space at the event will be charged at the guest rate.

If you would like to join the IDF, you can either apply online or you can download and complete our pdf.  All applications are put before IDF Council for consideration and must be received 10 working days ahead of the Council meeting.  For details of Council dates please see the Calendar of Events.
