Membership Conditions

As a condition of membership, IDF members undertake to abide by the Articles of Association of the Independent Doctors Federation as they stand and also as amended from time to time.

GMC Suspension Implications

In accordance with the constitution of the IDF, members who have been suspended by the GMC will also have their membership of the IDF suspended until the outcome of any appeal is known. They will not be eligible to register for IDF meetings in their own right, although they can attend as a guest of an existing member.

Rejoining the IDF

Membership of the IDF cannot be suspended.  Any members wishing to rejoin the IDF following a period of absence will need to reapply.
